Is there a significant difference between the usage of のみならず and [をはじめ]?
Leslie
I think, AをはじめB : A is the major example and B is others. While CのみならずD, there is no rank in importance of examples.

I'm sorry, but what's the difference between this grammar point and だけでなく? Does のみならず stipulate there are only two things in order (none other than those mentioned)?
Alkador
だけでなく is the same; I believe they are completely identical, but at least very similar.
